Kaiser Chiefs

After spending an hour at Zaza bazzar, me, my mum, my dad and my sister went to a nearby consert that my mum and dad had secretly booked without telling me.The main reason was to see Kaiser Chiefs band.

It was very loud but eventually I got used to it, (my sister was wearing earmuffs!) ad i started to pretend I was Dominic Darwin. It was quite fun actually until i got a bit bored and started kicking plastic bottles around! I was very thirsty and I managed to persuade my dad into buying me a hot dog.

When we got home it was 10:30 pm so we went straight to bed. I can still remember all those swear words thought!!!     

Fencing 2

I have already been to a fencing competition this year but did half as well. The other one i lost all my matches apart from one(my last pool match,) and this time did much better.

Nat is from my class at school and  I didn't want to fence him but i did and won 3 to 1.
The first round in the knockout round I was against the person who beat me 4-2.(Op 4-2 me) 

Triathalons

20/6/15
Today was when I had my first triathlon. There were tons of people there and I was entered for Tristar 1(8-10.)I was number 235, 199 numbers off my lucky number 36. We had to do three different disciplines.

• 100m of swimming.  
• 1.6 km of cycling
• 0.8 km of running

My finish time was 15.37 minuets.

It was near Thornbury and was held in Tockington Manor School. My mum and my sister also took part in a triathlon my sister took part in the under 8 and my mum in the fun race. We set off at 11 o'clock. My swimming time was 3:05 T1 1:56 Cycle 6:02  T2 0:47 Run 5:45. I think I can improve on my cycling because I took way longer than I thought. I beat my estimated time of time though which  was 21 minutes.

After I played in these orbs. Basically there was a harness in a air filled  cylinder in a massive inflatable ball. You would crawl into the ball and put the harness on and hold some straps and then ram into someone and then fall laughing as you rebound off them tumble back and roll back with not a scratch is sight.   

I really enjoyed it and want to do another one.

Balloons over london

We arrived at home from a party and it was 10 o'clock in the evening. I went to bed straight away so to be ready for the ballooning next day.

 

7/6/15

I woke up and found myself in a land rover. (which was how we got the balloon around,) It was pretty dark but I could make out a launch site and got out to take some photos.

I was asked if I wanted to come flying and I said yes.We saw a lot of buildings and bridges including the Shard, the Gherkin and the tower bridge.We also saw Big Ben and the tower of London.There was also lots of train stations and yards. We even saw some trains in one of the yards. There were  42 balloons and it was all for the lord mayors grand appeal. We landed in a field next to a railway and every now and then a train would come whistling past. The owner ( of the field ) was very kind and gave us toast and tea. In return we gave her a bottle of whisky packed up and left.

My Weekend

26th April

We had this opportunity to go carting as we were coming back from a lovely weekend at my grandmas house ( because it had been here birthday so all of my cousins were there, it was very busy) and we just happened to come across it. There was also a lazer quest and some other people joined in and i came 3rd.( ahead of my parents ad sisters.)

World book day

On world book day we would dress up as our faviroute book carictor and I dressed up as William brown and took the book that me and my grandma are reading which is number 3/10

Cubs quiz

28/2/15
I go to cubs and had a quiz which was very fun and even more fun we won! There were ten rounds and ten questions in each. I have to admit it was a bit stupid when we found out in the results that we were the only team that knew that the Flying Scotsman was a train because of me, because we were just about to circle airplane when I actually read the question and looked at the options that I worked out it was obviously a steam train. As I said we won and that was the first trophy that cubs had won. It was gold and had a scouts logo on it.

As we were waiting to see who won they started to talk.
"In drawn eight was..."said the lady it wasn't us.

" Were not last." whispered Henry.
It went on like this until second was announced. It wasn't us, we had one!
      

My fencing competition

On Saturday I went to a fencing competition with Nat, Alex  and Armed. The first five rounds of the tournament where called the pools. In a pool there where 5 to 6 people where everyone fenced everyone. The pools where the hardest stage where only one match was won by any BGS in the under 11 group.(me). The next stage was the knockout round where everyone lost there first match except Armed, sadly we had to go to bens party after so we didn't know if he the next one. I did love bens party but I would still love to know how Armed got on.

This is a my setting description and I am very proud of it and I have improved it with the purple pen. 

My favourite sentence is the last one( the banana sentence ). 

Learning a New Thing

In this video me and my cousin Hebe performed a beat boxing rap witch we made together and then my mum recording it on the  Ipad.

I think that it should be my homework because I learnt how to use my body and mouth to make music and plus I did it with someone else.

Story prediction freeze frame

In English now we are reading a book called Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters and me and my group made a freeze frame of the last thing in the in the story.

My Christmas Holiday to Myanmar

This Christmas I went to Myanmar ( Burma ) and I had a wonderful time. This is my 3rd time in Myanmar and I really enjoyed it. 

My dad is a balloon pilot and fly balloons for a company called Oriental Ballooning and he is chief pilot. We went there to see him. We stayed in Myanmar for 27 days (8th Dec-3rd Jan). On the first day my dad showed me a prying mantis. We stayed in  Bagan most of the time but we stayed in Inle for five days and Yangon for one. The best food I had was a draw between two Pizzas one in Bagan and one in Yangon. The one in Yangon was pepperoni and the other one was Hawaiian pizza.


Inle lake
I went to Inle for five days for witch my dad had his holiday on and me, my sister and my mum went with him. Inle lake is fresh water lake and is fed by about 2 streams. If you like fishing then Inle is one of the biggest lakes in the world and there are so many amazing hotels.

Bagan
Bagan or Pagan was once the capital city of Myanmar and the best place in Myanmar to go looking for temples. In Bagan the best place to go for food is called backpackers street (                    ) witch have a huge variety of different restaurants such as Weather spoons and A little bit of Bagan. The second restaurant there was was the one with the amazing Hawaiian pizza.
